The annual Futuwwa Retreat - organised by Greensville Trust - will be taking place again this year in Turkey. It is a family oriented retreat, with activities for men, women and children, with the primary aim to promote the ethics and practice of the Prophetic approach to the way of inward and outward martial and manly discipline. Students will be afforded the rare opportunity to engage in the religion in a more holistic manner through engaging the spiritual sciences and the remembrance of God, mighty and sublime is He, alongside the practice of the higher sports, as advocated by the Messenger of God, may the prayers and peace of God be upon Him."
Osswa Jiu-jitsu - supported by Noah's Ark charity - will be sponsoring two students
(one male, one female) to participate in this year's Futuwwa Retreat.
Each student's partial retreat fees (£1750 per student) will be paid for by Noah's Ark, which will include:
FLIGHT COST NOT INCLUDED. Student will be required to pay the remainder of the retreat fee (£100)
To apply, you must be 18 years or over, able to travel with a valid passport.

Agreement:
The successful student will agree to:
- Producing a daily video-based diary (VLOG) detailing his/ her activities on the retreat using one's own device. This production is to be edited and then given to the Trust for publication on Osswa Jiu-jitsu Social Media platforms, Noahs Ark’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.

- Producing a written log of the physical, mental and spiritual challenges and insights they undertake as part of the retreat. These will be published in forthcoming newsletters.
- Writing a note of gratitude to the patrons and donors of Noahs Ark which will be published in forthcoming newsletters.
- Full participation of the activities at the retreat, as long as the participant is fully able and in good health.
- Being a representative of Osswa Jiu-jitsu/ Noahs Ark, whilst maintaining a high standard of respect and committed to the highest morals and conduct.

Applicant answers will be judged by the teachers of the retreat for their understanding of the aims and objectives of the retreat, reflections on personal and communal benefit and detailing a commitment to serving their community.
Successful Applicants will be announced on 1st June 2024
